In 1988, local promoter Motion Sports brought the excitement of motocross racing to the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. We haven't looked back since.
Motocross is a form of off-road motorcycle racing that features a standing start, right and l
eft turns and jumps on a closed dirt circuit over natural, outdoor terrain. Originating in Europe shortly after World War II, the sport rapidly gained a large following in the United States, especially in California.
The event provides an opportunity for local riders to compete. And with the help of our local motocross sponsors, Motion Sports, and the Fair Board, a pro purse is secured.
Highly competitive and thrilling, this is the North Idaho Fair event you won't want to miss!
